Design Internship | Spring 2023During my 6-month internship with the Boston Beer Company, I worked on a wide range of projects including point-of-sale promotions, packaging design, and event campaigns.
This was a great experience where I learned to work cohesively within previous branding standards, and applied those standards to new projects with creative freedom.
Point-of-sale
The bulk of of my work as an intern was doing point-of-sale requests: print and digital media to be displayed at locations selling BBC products.
These often had to be made with tight deadlines with brand assets, quickly turning out advertising material to vendors around the country.
Packaging Design
Boston Lager PeanutsI teamed up with a fellow design intern at BBC to create the packaging for Samuel Adams’ collaboration with Sippin Snax, a company that sells gourmet bar snack.
We combined the Sippin Snax packaging format with Samuel Adams’ typefaces and color palette, aiming to be cohesive with the rest of the Sippin Snax catalog, while standing out as a special edition product.
EVENT CAMPAIGN
Mother Dahling Drag BrunchOne of my favorite projects at BBC was the creating the marketing material for their annual drag show at the Samuel Adams Taproom.
I wanted the campaign to feel fresh and sweet for spring, and full of energy to match the excitement of a drag show.
